Ovulation: Women with regular cycles, have a surge in lh hormone levels that matures and ovulates (releases) the egg 24 - 48 hours later. This is the time you can get pregnant. Since you have irregular cycles it is hard to predict when this occurs. Still, there are oral medications that may help to make the cycles more regular and allow you to time ovulation.
