Probably not: I would tell the doctor during your pre-op evaluation. Very heavy daily pot smokers can and do get chronic bronchitis, and even emphysema. You don't say whether you smoke cigarettes, but that would also make a difference. There are no specific issues related to the usual smoking of marijuana, and a recent study showed that usual regular smokers of marijuana did not have changes in lung function.
