Dry lips: I can not speak for any particular product. However many products use wax to protect the lips & don't moisturize. You may want to select a product that contains moisturizers.

Dry lips: Even though about 75% of lip balm is ingested, it is important to keep your lips moist and protected. You are doing the right thing but application once every two hours is usually adequate
