Every 1-2yrs: Use frax (http://www.Shef.Ac.Uk/frax/) to determine your risk for osteoporotic fracture. Presumably you've had a DEXA (dxa) test performed to screen for osteoporosis but only came up w/osteopenia (t score between -1 & -2.5). Talk to your doctor about correctable causes of decrease bone mineral density eg smoking, lack of exercise, corticosteroids, etc. Use same machine to recheck every 1-2yrs.
