Might not work: The common redness rashes on the face are rosacea and eczema. Topical antibiotic alone works for rosacea but not the one with topical steroid. Eczema might just need topical steroid but Betamethasone is too strong for the thin skin in the face. Also, there are many other skin diseases that looks red too. Since you get prescriptions for those meds, you should see your doctor for correct diagnosis.
