Dilantin was developed in the 1930s and would not be approved today due to its Zero Order Kinetics. In essence too little makes it subtherapeutic, too much makes it toxic. Tough to get exactly, into the therapeutic range of 10-20. There are many other adverse issues, and better choices abound. Discuss with your doctor.
