A member asked:

I stopped taking the nuvaring and breast tenderness hasn't gone away and its been 2 weeks after my 1st non bc period. is this normal? not pregnant.

Something else: Maybe the breast tenderness wasn't due to the nuva ring? The hormones from ring are long gone. Have you gained weight recently? Drinking a lot of caffeine? Changes in sleep, diet, exercise, bra? Consider other factors.

Probably normal: The NuvaRing effectively suppressed cycle related symptoms including breast symptoms. I would consider it normal, but worth discussing with your doctor. One natural way of treating breast pain is daily primrose oil.
