A member asked:

When can i put my 5 month old to sleep on his side? i'm afraid he won't be able to breathe if his face snuggles onto the bed

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Back to sleep: The main recommendation is to place infants on their backs to sleep. Sleeping on their tummies put them at greatest risk for sudden infant death. Side sleeping is generally not recommended. Also do not use pillows or crib bumpers in your baby's crib. Tummy time is best when infant is awake and active.
