Abdominal issues: Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, vaginal fungal infections. Headaches/dizziness/black tongue has also been reported.Report to your doctor as soon as possible if is diarrhea is watery/bloody( with or without stomach cramps/fever) at the start of therapy or even as late as 2 or more months after your last dose of augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate). Drink plenty of water while on this antibiotic.
