A member asked:

My son is 3,5 years and on augmentin 5ml twice a day and aspelone 24mg (8ml) a day. he suddenly sweats excessively during his afternoon naps. and his face is pale with red blotches. is this normal side effects of the medication he is taking?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: I would consider it as likely that whatever illness he has is the cause of the sweats rather than the meds. The blotchy localized rash might be. I would share this information with the treating doc.
