Adequate aerobic and vo2 maximum conditioning workout is usually recommended for target heart rate of 70% to 80% of maximal heart rate, up to 85% of maximal heart rate. Using the formula given, your maximum heart rate is 178, with target heart rate of 124.6 to 142.4, and up to 151.3. Following myocardial infarction, exercise tolerance can varies.
