GO back to ER: If you are discharged home after appendectomy , some times even in young will have post operative urinary retention due to anesthetic medications , you need temporary urinary catheterization , go to er you will be fine call your surgeon also.

No it is: Not normal to vomit. Pain under ribs could be from surgery. Call your surgeon for specific advice.
