No: Differin (adapalene) tends to make the skin more sensitive to the sun, and while no human studies have shown an increased risk of skin cancer, none have shown a decreased risk either. Since we know sun burns increase the risk of skin cancers, and since this med increases the risk of sun burn, i'd be extra cautious with its use in the sun, but no studies have linked it with increased skin cancer.
