Only somewhat: Having periods every 50 days usually means that something is off in the hormones, leading to infrequent or absent ovulation. Possible causes include being overweight or underweight, thyroid or prolactin hormone issues, eating too much soy, for instance. It is reasonable to have your doc check you and determine what the cause is.
