Driving: Not a good idea until able to weight bear just in case you would need to brake suddenly. This is a safety issue. What if you could not avoid an accident because you were unable to respond suddenly and brake. What if you we hurt seriously or if you seriously hurt someone else? Is that worth the risk? Doubt the doctor thinks so.

Depends: He or she might be able to do that, but it will depend on how you are doing and other factors, including which knee it is and whether you have standard or automatic transmission. You don't want to put yourself or others in danger, if you can't control your leg fully, and you don't want to jeopardize your surgical results. Why don't you ask your surgeon?
