A Tic is a sudden: Rapid, recurrent, nonrhythmic motor movement or vocalization. In tourette’s disorder both motor tics and vocal tics must be present, though not necessarily at the same time. The tics may come and go but must onset before are 18 and persist for more than a year, this condition often co-occurs with adhd and obsessive compulsive disorder.
