Podiatry.: I would encourage you to get up the courage to see your podiatrist. If there are fragments of nail growing into your skin - the infection will continue. The procedure for an ingrown toe nail is really not that bad. What if you develop cellulitis or the infection travels in your body?

Ingrown: This is one of those things that surgical resection is the option . It will make the problem go away and make you feel better. See your podiatrist - you won't regret it !
