No: A low potassium is usually associated with extra heart beats or abnormal tachycardia. A high potassium, on the other hand, can cause heart block, bradycardia, even systole.

Lo K Brady?: Yes. But so can many other things. Low more likely to cause fast and irregular heart beats. EKG will help figure out what is going on. Always tell your team. Get K up by moving to DASH eating plan. And add 8-16 oz of low sodium V8 and decrease salt intake so sodium intake is <1,500 mg per day. Track with the Loseit app.
