Mass: Scrotal enlargement with hardness or firmness should be considered seriously. Possible explanations can range from a simple hydrocele or hernia as well as it can mean a chronic infection or even a testicular tumor. A testicular tumor is the most worrisome and this should be evaluated promptly.
