Cause of headache: The best way to tackle a headache is to figure out what's causing it in the first place - is it a migraine, from not eating breakfast this am, from skipping a dose of a medicine, from not getting enough sleep? There can be many reasons. For the run of the mill dull headache, i usually like to try some Ibuprofen and/or tylenol (acetaminophen) first and see how it feels after an hour or so.
A 43-year-old member asked:

Can you explain if it's possible to lighten tanned skin?

1 doctor answer2 doctors weighed in
Dr. Heidi Fowler
Psychiatry 25 years experience
It is better to: prevent the tan from developing in the first place. For lighter skin – always protect your skin. 1. Use a broad spectrum sun screen with a high SPF. Apply as often as needed. 2. Wears hat or other clothing to protect skin from Sun’s UV rays. 3. Try to avoid mid-day sun. A medication like hydroquinone may take months to work and usually it’s use would be limited to a particular site on the body.
