Vaginal pain: Stinging or burning in vagina is causes usually by an infection.You need an exam with a speculum and cultures.Also a pelvic exam can determine if you have herpes which can cause burning pain.There may be shallow painful ulcers.Treatment depends upon the cause-yeast vaginitis , bacterial vaginosis etc would need a creme insertion.Herpes needs oral tablets and local creme.
