Can your toe turn black if you have gout?

No: A black toe is a sign of tissue damage secondary to inadequate blood flow. Or some infections.

No!: Redness is a sign of gout but not a black color.

Generally not...: Gout usually turns the skin very red in the area of the attack. No toe should ever be black - if it is that color it is either dead or dying!
