Very hard to call a: 4mm tumor on imaging, and then hard to biopsy. Scotus justice ginsburg had such a tiny lesion after surveillance ct scan, and has done fine after surgery. An anecdote, but very few pancca are found this small. You can do very well even cured with proper therapy.

Not necessarily: There are several noncancerous abnormalities that can occur in the pancreas. Depending on what the area looks like on imaging, we will recommend followuup. A 4 mm abnormality rarely warrants aggressive management, but may require followup.
