It's OK: Ultimately it's up to your surgeon, but after 2 or 3 months the capsule around your implant has matured and it shouldn't cause problems.

Ask Surgeon.: Patients who have undergone breast augmentation surgery will eventually be able to sleep with no bra on. During the first several weeks/months, patients should follow the advice of their plastic surgeon. Best wishes.

It's OK: It is recommended some elastic bra support for the first two weeks. After that if it feels comfortable should be ok to sleep with no bra. Always check with your surgeon before.

4-6 weeks: I prefer to have my patients wear a compressive bra or a jogging bra for the first 4-6 weeks post-operatively.

Varies by surgeon: Use of bras following breast augmentation vary by surgoen. We typically recommend a light compression bra or camisole type garment with a shelf bra.

Bra's are better: A soft bra is advisable after breast augmentation. The constant pressure on the implant can cause them to move over time, especially, if your surgery was recent. Stomach sleeping can cause the implants to move laterally, even with a bra.
