Dose & Frequency: The use of kenalog injections is common for a wide variety of maladies. It is quite unlikely to cause weight gain in the usual way it is given. However, if the dose is very large and it is given frequently, side effects may occur. However, oral dosing of kenalog (triamcinolone acetonide) can cause weight gain among other side effect that go along with corticosteroid use.
