A member asked:

What emollient cream do i use for lichen sclerosus?

Steroid cream: Lichen sclerosus is poorly understood as far as a cause. It does respond, however, to high potency steroid cream. The most commonly used cream is called clobetasol. It is probably best used as an ointment and is available only with a prescription. Talk to your ob/gyn!

Steroid: Potent steroid therapy is best for lichen sclerosus. Ointment is usually better than cream as it is petroleum based and will stay on your skin longer. See a specialist for treatment as this condition can progress quickly if not treated.
