Why are the tips of my babies fingers peeling?

Not a problem: It is common for infants to have peeling skin on their hands. Sometimes a little lotion may speed the process. Not to worry-this will go away by itself

Common: Newborns often will have peeling of the top layer of their skin. If there is redness, swelling or pus, please see a pediatrician right away.
