Most often there is: No bleeding with implantation. When it does occur there may be a spot of brown discharge, a light pink swirl in white discharge or a drop or two of recognizable blood.

Implantation: There is usually no bleeding when one becomes pregnant. Bleeding is usually a sign of not being pregnant. Implantation can show some minimal drops of blood or spots. Mucous is again not part of this process.
