Not enough info: Implantation is when the conceptus (from union of egg & sperm) attach to the wall of the uterus.
Bleeding most often dose not occur with implantation. If there is bleeding the amount is small. It may be small rust or brown colored drops or light pink swirled in white d/C. It usually occurs about ten days after ovulation.

A 18-year-old female asked:
Spotting in between periods, could this be implantation bleeding?

Breakthrough: It's probably breakthrough bleeding, 'implantation bleeding' is all the rage online now, but it's over-rated. It's usually not 'implantation' but breakthrough bleeding. A pregnancy test in a few days will confirm one way or another.

A 21-year-old female asked:
Is there a difference in the appearance between implantation bleeding, and regular pre-period spotting?

Likely breakthrough: Implantation bleeding is largely an internet myth. If - a big if - you actually get implantation bleed it would be very light and about 6-7 days after ovulation, or about a week before your expected period. So, i wouldn't worry - but spotting before a period does not make it more likely you are pregnant, sorry. Good wishes.
