Hurts, don't it: I'd ice mine while i looked for a paper clip and pair of pliers. Then i'd heat the end of the paper clip red hot and very gently touch it to the nail over the subunguinal hematoma--your blood blister. It burns a little hole and the blood comes out and it feels better. Or you can go the er and pay them to drain it if you're squeamish.
