How long should you give lyrica (pregabalin) to start working?

One - four weeks: I don't know why your are taking lyrica, (pregabalin) or what dose, so it' s a bit hard to be specific. In my practice, with my chronic pain patients, i generally explain that it may take several weeks for Lyrica (pregabalin) to really work well. The average dose in my patients tends to be between 300 mgs and 600 mgs daily, and it may take several weeks to increase to that dose.
