Tonsil: A tonsil cyst and a tonsil stone are very different problems, but they can both present with pressure, pain and discomfort. As for taste...Not really. A tonsil stone smells quite putrid and the taste typically follows. There usually isn't much to take with a tonsil cyst.

Hello, my left tonsil has had issues for years. The appendage directly below it seems to fill up with mucous like a cyst, and I must drain it to relieve pressure and to swallow normally. There are also non-visible tonsil stones behind the tonsil.
