Can excessive dose of cetirizine may lead to death?

Too much cetirizine: Too much of any drug could be dangerous but Cetirizine is generally very safe in usual doses. It is not uncommon for allergists to prescribe Cetirizine in higher than recommended doses up to 40 mg per day. This does not mean it is completely safe since sedation is common at this dose. Over-the-counter medications should be used at the recommended doses unless supervised by a physician.
