How long should it take for stitches to heal after a varicocele?

Varicocele: Y9our surgeon will be the best person to answer this, because only the surgeon knows the type of sutures used. Most sutures are absorbable if they are under the skin, and they take 14-21 days to absorb. Any stitches on the outside of the skin take longer to absorb.

Depend...: The stitches used to close inguinal incision are usually removed in 5-10 days depending on schedule ; surgeon's preference, if non-absorbable ones are used; if the absorbable suture material is used, they will be absorbed and detached in 7-14 days depending on suture size and material. Detail? Ask surgeon.
