Yes, it may: Cyclobenzaprine, a muscle relaxer, works by blocking nerve impulses. Sometimes this can include the nerves in the gut and/ or bladder. In the gut this may lead to constipation or diarrhea while in the bladder one may experience either frequent or impaired urination. Best to let your doctor know and s/he may try another medication.
