A member asked:

Can i go abroad even i have hepa b?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: While abroad, pay special attention to what goes in your mouth. You do not want any other liver-toxic germs (like hep a, leptospirosis, etc) if you already have hep b; fully cooked foods usually won't present a problem. Also, avoid alcohol or medications that can further damage your liver. Finally, should romance arise during your trip, use condoms. Hep b spreads much like hiv.
