Jawbone Asymmetry: No one's face is perfectly symmetric. However, sometimes one side of the jaw grows faster or longer than the other side, creating a facial asymmetry, or a crooked face. Usually this occurs during adolescent growth and development, but it can occur later in adulthood due to certain medical conditions such as acromegaly or due to abnormal growth of the jaw joint. You should see an oral surgeon.

Asymmetry is normal: No ones face is symmetrical. If it is bothersome an oral and maxillofacial surgeon can possibly correct it with surgery.
