Fast Healing: The real question is what not to do that slows down healing. Avoid using alcohol, peroxide, hibiclens, betadine, and bleach solutions. Inflammation ( red, hot, swollen, tender) is important to healing so anti-inflammatories (motrin, advil) are bad. Cover the area with antibiotic ointment twice a day and protected from trauma. Oral antibiotics do not help healing unless it is truly infected.

For you or for baby?: Might be a good thing for skin edges to separate if too much skin was removed. Suggest you discuss it with your surgeon. Can always take a photograph with camera or cell phone & email or send to surgeon, this saves a visit. Single layer ( not more) of xeroform gauze could be wrapped around penis. Gap between skin edges will heal & epithelialize between edges. Should be ok in long run.
