Tinnitus: You have tinnitus, a sound of ringing which can be annoying and sometimes a symptom of inner ear disease. If yours is on one side only, you should get an evaluation with an ENT doctor very soon. Bilateral sometimes is inherited or due to causes that cannot be corrected. It is also the sign sometimes of very early hearing loss so protect your ears from loud noise.

Ringing in ears? I recently separated out of the military and when its all quiet i hear a sound that sounds like a tv is on but with no volume. I don't know if that makes sense but i guess the best way i can think of explaining it is the electronic waves
