Many things: Aside from yeast infections (i assume this from diflucan) vaginal itching can result from dryness, use of certain spermicides, a sexually transmitted disease and possibly hormonal changes. These can be determined by your gyn.

Atrophic vaginitis: At your age, a common cause is atrophic vaginitis due to loss of vaginal estrogens. Itching can be quite severe as the skin inside the vagina becomes very thin. Easily fixed with prescription vaginal hormones prescribed by a family doctor.
