Negative HPT's: If you have a 22 day cycle – you would likely ovulate on day #8. An early pregnancy test may detect a pregnancy up to 6 days prior to your anticipated period. It is likely that you aren't pregnant if you took those tests after you missed your periods. However, sometimes woman retests in a week using a first morning void. A pregnancy blood test is the most sensitive. Take care.
