Symbolic: This is not unusual. Our dream content pulls from our life events. If sexual interactions with your ex-boyfriend were exciting/ pleasant - then when the brain is dealing with sexuality it would make sense that your previous lover would represent this in dreams. You may have no interest in having a relationship with him currently but your brain still remembers sex with him. >>.
