Infection: Typically a strong fishy smell indicates bacterial vaginosis. A trip to the doctor or clinic can confirm this, but likely you need antibiotics to help with this infection. Typically a normal bacteria grows too heavily in the vagina to cause this. It's not a sexually transmitted disease, but rather an 'imbalance' of your vaginal flora. Good luck!
