They should: But... Er's get busy with rotating schedules so there isn't always continuity of patients's care and things more easily slip through the cracks. I always tell patients to be sure they get their results, normal or not. Do not rely on no news is good news, that may just mean no one knows what is going on. Call and ask to get your results.
