AMD: The only proven way to help prevent amd is by taking a multi-vitamin(mvi). There are specific vitamins for this that have been studied. Many docs think any MVI (multivitamin) will help. Some docs postulate that limiting sun exposure with uv blocking sunglasses or blue-blockers will help. There is even an intraocular lens implant used to block those wavelengths after cataract surgery. Their helpfulness is theory.
