First aid for bite on a tongue?

None really: Depends: did u bite ur own tongue or did something else bite ur tongue? If u bit ur own tongue, nothing much to do rinse w salt water let it heal. If it's bleeding severely and won't stop go to er or oral surgeon for stitches and antibiotics that would have to be from external trauma like car crash or punch. If u accid bit ur own tongue & it starts becoming infected go to dentist for antibiotic.

Tongue: Time and salt water. Good news is there is so much vascularization in the tongue that it heals relatively quickly.

Tongue bite: Tongue bite can managed as any other wound , rinse mouth , pressure gauze or use ice if bleeding more and see doctor. Most of tongue bites don't need stitches unless wound is gaping or too big or any other complication is there.
