Appendix: I have never heard of the pain beginning in the upper leg. I will also refer this to dr. Hoefpner who is an excellent surgeon.

No: I do not know which leg you are describing, but in general no, appendicitis pain does not begin in the leg or go into the leg. A clinical sign of retroperitoneal irritation from appendicitis can be pain in the low back with straight leg raising from irritation to the psoas muscle. But i suppose can also never say never.

Nope: It can start around the belly button or low down in the right abdomen--but not in the leg. And if it's your appendix and you've waited for this answer, it's probably ruptured anyway.
