Thyroid and sodium: There are many causes of abnormal na levels. Hypothyroidism can cause low na (hyponatremia). If you are on the correct dose of synthroid (thyroxine) (i.e. Normal tsh) then your na should be normal. If it is not, then another cause should be sought with the help of your doctor.
