Ouch!: Ear drops are for ears. They often have stronger concentrations and lower ph (more acidic) than eye drops. Many ear drops would be downright painful if put into the eye.

Because not eye drop: The eye is more easily harmed by many substances than other parts of the body, including the ear. In the eye, use only medicines recommended for use in the eye.

They are different: Ear drops are usually slightly acidic because they need to penetrate the skin and war drum to take effect. Ear drops are extremely dangerous to the eyes because you don't want to put acid in your eyes because it can cause a chemical burn. Very dangerous!
