It's a NSAID: Ecotrin (aspirin) is enteric-coated Aspirin (which means it just doesn't disolve in your stomach). It might be causing increased bleeding around the time of menstruation. Get a pregnancy test if you have missed a period or had an unusual one. Aspirin should not be taken during pregnancy.

Ecotrin (aspirin): As it's been stated ecotrin (aspirin) is a form of aspin. All non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications of which Aspirin make part are know to increase one's risk of pregnancy loss (miscarriage). There are certain conditions that Aspirin is indicated in pregnancy, but to use it for common ailments we normally use Aspirin for, i would not recommend unless cleared by your OB doc.
